My Experience
25+ years of experience in the Public Health system as an AHPRA Registered Psychologist and prior to this as a Registered General Nurse. I also have worked in the private sector, including with the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention (AISRAP) and in Alcohol and Drug Inpatient Rehab
Hospital. I work with how stress, anxiety, depression and trauma can affect the way in which we think and behave, how our mind often gets stuck and makes it difficult to be the way we want be. I work from a whole person perspective and while your challenges will be treated with respect and care, I also like to work with
your strengths. I will work with you to find what helps improve your everyday mood, emotional responses and relationships. Recently I am furthering my interest and learning in Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) and look forward to working with more clients managing with this range of symptoms.
Fees and Rebates
$260.00 per 50-minute consultation or
$158.45 with the Medicare Rebate of $101.55 available with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
Private Insurance varies with different levels of cover – check with your insurer.
Cancellation policy – a 24-hour cancellation policy applies (unless an urgent situation arises)
Referrals
To be eligible for the Medicare Rebate (x10 sessions) you need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
I accept NDIS referrals, Work Cover referrals and Private Insurance
